Incompetent Manager

Today over lunch, like always a colleague of mine and I chit chatted about everything. Right from the annoying co-worker to an incompetent manager. Slowly we began discussing the drawback of an incompetent manager leading a young team and how that begins to change the culture of the organization (which otherwise companies boast about).

A lot has been spoken and written about the different types of leadership. But how much of these are actually shared with the practicing managers by the organizations. I believe that if you tolerate an unacceptable behavior in the work place you tend to unintentionally promote it.

Tell me about your experiences. What are your thoughts on this.
